Summer Reading Programs - Adult
Why should kids have all the fun? Adults can also get in on the fun by signing up for the Adult Summer Reading Program. This is a great opportunity to lead by example and encourage your children to read!
Each year Wharton County Library hosts its annual Adult Summer Reading Program during the months of June and July. Every year is a different theme with the same goal, to read books for a chance to win cool prizes.
Summer Reading Program 2024 is here! This year’s theme is “Adventure begins at your Library”
Wharton Main Library
Read or listen to 4 items during the months June and July to be eligible for prizes. For some extra fun Wharton Main Library has two bingo cards (one for June and one for July) available with activities to do during June/July; Completing these cards are optional and will get you extra entries for the drawing.
We will have two contests during the Summer Reading Program. In June you can participate in the photography contest!
During the month of July we will give out coloring pages with inspirational quotes. Turn in your coloring page to be eligible to win.
