Wharton County Library is sad to announce that our beloved Library Director Elene Gedevani has been found murdered this morning at the Wharton Main Library. The Wharton Literary Police has processed the crime scene and released the crime scene photos, police report and a list of persons of interest to us.

The Toxicology Report revealed that the victim did not have any poisons, drugs or alcohol in her system when she died, nor did the cup found at the crime scene contain any of these substances.

Unknown letter

The Wharton Literary Police Department has found a crumbled and torn letter in the victim’s office and think it may be relevant to the case. They request your help to put the letter back together.

The Wharton Literary Police Department would like to thank all of you for your help with the last clue. Unfortunately the letter was not signed and all persons of interest were asked to submit a handwriting sample. One person refused to submit a sample. A qualified forensic document examiner has analyzed the submitted documents.

Security Alarm and video Report

Wharton Literary Police Department has reviewed the security footage from inside the library from September 15, 2022 between 7:50am and 8:30am. During this review it was discovered that footage between 8:05am and 8:25am was erased. To protect the remaining information the footage was encrypted.
