If our library does not have the book you want, ask the reference librarian about our (Interlibrary Loan) ILL program. We can get items (released at least 6 months ago) from other libraries. The material is mailed to Wharton County Library and there is a charge of $1.50 for each item requested. Waiting time varies from 2 to 5 weeks depending on the availability of materials. Once available, you will receive a phone call. Items are held at the Circulation desk. Items not picked up after 7 days will be returned.

The Wharton Main Branch and the El Campo Branch will provide notary public service to county residents at no cost.

Flatbed scanner available.

Wharton County Library system has Wi-Fi access available at all of the branches. No password is needed.

Wharton County Library's Main Branch, El Campo Branch, and East Bernard Branch have mobile Wi-Fi Hotspots available for checkout. Library card holders can check out the mobile Hotspots for 2 weeks at a time.
