El Campo: What is a Solar Eclipse?

The El Campo Branch Library will be hosting an informative mini-workshop on Monday, April 1 at 6:00 pm in the Mayor’s Room.  The presenter will share information about this seldom-experienced phenomenon and answer questions.  The program is open to all ages, children and adults. After the program, the Library will be handing out solar eclipse glasses that meet the international standard known as ISO 12312-2.  This eyewear was provided to the library to share with its patrons by the U.S. National Science Foundation.

If you cannot attend the program, the remaining sets of eyewear will be given away at the front desk of the El Campo Branch Library.  Stop by and get your set before 10:00 am Monday, April 8. For more information, call the El Campo Branch Library at 979-543-2362 or 979-543-6034.

The event is finished.
